Nearly 2 weeks to catch up on.....

Hi people, I was thinking to myself today "isn't it funny what you take for granted..." - up until about a month ago, I would've just gone on the computer at home and "blogged out", but now that I don't have a computer, I have to wait for the weekend and go to the library to do my thing. I had planned to do some blogging last weekend but left my notes at home, so I have to catch up today before my visitors get here on their way to watch the Warriors last game of the season. My visitor is Russell Packer's mum and her niece. She's a really good friend of mine and has been a rock for me through my ugly patch, so it's going to be great to see her.

Anyway they're not too far away so i had better hurry up.

Swimming training has been fantastic. I am swimming really well and feel really strong in the water. This week I have started to swim 4 days a week. I've just come from the pools after a 3 km swim, 3 km last night and 2.2 km Thursday. Sunday will be an interesting swim I think, interesting in how my body responds after 2 fairly big swims.

Thursday:
200 w/u
100 x between long dog / catch up drill
100 duck feet
2x200 - 100 tennis ball swim / 100 free
Ladder Set:
100 w:20, 200 w:20, 300 w:30, 300 w:30, 200 w:20, 100 w:20
200 as B/fly + head up swimming with fins. Cramped up after 25m fly so grabbed pull buoy and finished set

Fri:
200 w/u
100 one arm
100 one arm - ugly tard one
100 6 kick flip
200 technique
400 kick
12 x 25 underwater streamline
1000 straight aerobic swim and I blitzed it!
400 pull/paddle
200 w/d

Today:
200 w/u
100 long dog
100 one arm
100 catch up
300 kick
4x100 as 75 aerobic 25 HARD
500 pull buoy
400 pull/paddle
400 pull buoy
300 paddles only
200 w/d

Well my visitors are here so I'll endeavor to catch up on Wednesday night.
